Try not to miss orthodox Christmas on the 7th of January, and so-called Serbian New Year on 13th of January, as Zlatibor mountain gets extra vivid and festive around New Year’s time.

Also in January, you can visit assembly of hunters with traditional Wolf Hunt, and also traditional Prosciutto (Prshuta) Fair, and enjoy dry ham specialties from Serbia. Travel here in April, and you might want to check out Šljivovica Fair, an event that gathers manufacturers of plum brandy, strong alcoholic beverage characteristic for Serbia and Zlatibor region. In July, Zlatibor mountain is host of Bikers Assembly.

The Zlatibor Trumpet Festival, competition of trumpet orchestras that precedes largest trumpet festival in Serbia, well-known Guča Festival. But truth to be told, hop into any restaurant, bar or club in Serbia and you are bound to get a taste of Serbian parties and some of friskiest events and festivals in Europe.
